Plan for two visits, not one
Permanent makeup is a process. The first appointment, including consultation, mapping, and treatment, takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. The skin then heals for four to six weeks before a follow-up that refines the shape and adds color where it did not hold.
If you are coming from elsewhere in the Valley, book both visits with that in mind: choose times that avoid your busiest days, and remember that for about ten days after treatment you should avoid swimming, direct sun, heavy exercise, and makeup on the area. Plan permanent makeup well ahead of weddings, vacations, and big events.
Getting to the studio
- Address: 18321 Ventura Blvd, Suite 680, Tarzana, CA 91356. Suite 680 is shared with InfuseLife.
- From the Valley: Tarzana sits between Encino to the east and Woodland Hills to the west, on the Ventura Boulevard corridor that also runs through Sherman Oaks and Studio City. Calabasas is west via the 101.
- Parking: paid building parking is available, with no validation. Free street parking across from the building may be available, but it is not guaranteed.
- Arrival: please arrive about 15 minutes early to allow time for parking.
Consultation, safety, and the studio
Every treatment starts with a consultation and a health questionnaire, as California requires. Patch tests are available. Suite 680 holds a body art facility health permit, and Mahsa holds a current Los Angeles County body art practitioner registration.
Some people should not have permanent makeup, or should wait, including anyone under 18, during pregnancy, or during chemotherapy or radiation. If you have a medical condition or take medication you are unsure about, check with your physician before booking and tell Mahsa at your consultation.
Pricing
Permanent makeup services start at $600, and Mahsa confirms the price for your treatment at consultation. Brow lamination is $150 ($200 with tint), and lash lift is $150 ($200 with tint). Gift cards are available.
